Given the recent popularity of battery-powered disc-cutters - mentioning no names - the new 82PC300 Power Cutter from Cramer Tools might just turn a few heads.
Powered by 82V batteries, and with a pleasing consideration for aesthetics, a 2.5kW digital brushless motor with 4Nm of torque tackles demanding cutting jobs with ease and speed. It is compatible with 300mm blades, cutting to a depth of 110mm at a speed of 82m/s.
The batteries are interchangeable with other tools in Cramer's 82V range, which also includes chainsaws, zero-turn mowers, hedge trimmers and myriad other tools. Standalone chargers are available, such as the 82C1G which can charge the 12Ah battery to 100% in three hours. At the other end of the scale, the 3Ah battery reaches a full charge in just 45 minutes. As seen below, up to six batteries can be charged simultaneously in the handy 82C6 wheeled caddy.
The 82PC300 is plainly no lightweight, although it tips the scales at just 5.7kg (tool only). Best of all, Cramer Tools are all backed by a two-year commercial warranty, with a mighty ten-year warranty on the batteries.
