The 34-machine deal was announced on the stand at the recent HIREland expo in Dublin, and it includes the 1-tonne Hi-Tip, 3-tonne Power Swivel, 6-tonne Power Swivel Cabbed and 9-tonne Front Tip Cabbed models.
The new machines will improve uptime and deliver value to CP Hire customers and operators. Earlier this year the company also invested in 9-tonne and 6-tonne cabbed dumpers, protecting the welfare and safety of their employees and customers.
Speaking at HIREland, CP Hire MD Andrew Hutchinson said: “We have a long-standing, strong relationship with Thwaites. Our customers appreciate the safety, quality and robustness of a Thwaites dumper. Our service engineers appreciate their ease of maintenance and the business appreciates the return and retained value when it’s time to refresh. That’s why we choose Thwaites.”
Also present was Thwaites Distributor Manager, Will Redman, who added: “I would like to thank Andrew and his team for their continued support and TBF Thompson for their work in concluding the sale. This deal gives further indication and evidence of a growing Irish economy; I look forward to ensuring that Thwaites are best positioned to support hirers and contractors across the island of Ireland.”
