Sussex-based BML Plant Hire has invested in 12 X-ECO LED lighting towers, which were supplied by Trime UK.

The X-ECO LED is fitted with the 'AMOSS' safety system, which automatically lowers the mast if the lighting set is moved whilst the mast is still erected. Otyher features include an emergency stop button, a fully bunded fuel tank, four height adjustable stabilisers and site levels for guidance during deployment. The energy saving LED lamps provide up to 50000 hours without replacement.

The BML's entire lighting consists of Trime lighting products. The company currently provides the  X-BATTERY unit for work in London’s Low Emission Zone for Non-Road Mobile Machinery, while the 12 new sets are already in operation on long-term contracts.

Commenting on the investment, BML Director Colum Mannix said: “We have operated the X-ECO LED lights for many years with total customer acceptance.  Therefore it was an easy decision to keep with the Trime brand exclusively. The quality and spread of light produced makes Trime the ideal tower light of choice for our hire customers.”

BML was incorporated in early 2021 and supplies a wide range of plant, tools and equipment to construction sites, outside events and Covid-19 testing centres in the Sussex area and beyond.
