Atlas Copco has updated its DrillAir range, with the launch of the X-Air? 800-20 portable air compressor. Designed to deliver higher air flow at a practical working pressure of 20bar, the unit featires a compact canopy that simplifies transport and logistics.
The X-Air? 800-20 is aimed at applications such as foundation drilling, abrasive blasting and pipeline services, where high air volume is more important than ultra-high pressure. It delivers up to 800CFM of air flow and offers 11% better fuel efficiency than its predecessor, helping users reduce fuel consumption and overall operating costs.
Power comes from a 6.7-litre Cummins engine paired with Atlas Copco’s AirXpert technology, which automatically adjusts performance based on real-time air demand. Dynamic Flow Boost increases air flow during the most demanding drilling phases, supporting faster operations.
The compressor also features the Xc2004 controller, providing clear monitoring, intuitive operation and connectivity for future needs. Overall, the X-Air? 800-20 offers a balanced mix of efficiency, productivity, and ease of use for demanding job sites.
