Our chums at LFI are at it again, with a brand new ladder-based launch called the 'Loadstep' aimed at giving lorry drivers a safe leg-up.
The new product is the latest addition to the company's Pro range, comprising lightweight and durable equipment built to withstand the rigours of professional use - bang-on for hire, in other words.
The device is designed to improve safety when accessing lorry beds and is fittingly robust, featuring a crimp & swage design, a single handrail with two locking settings, a sliding mechanism adapting to bed heights up to 1.4m, heavy-duty 35mm serrated D-rungs and a sturdy five bar chequer plate atop.
The Loadstep is built to BS2037 Class 1, guiding the construction and performance of portable aluminium ladders, and is tested to carry loads up to 175KG - just over 27.5 stone, in old money.
If all of that doesn't communicate safety and security, there's an integral locking strap and a five-year manufacturer's warranty for additional peace of mind. Oh, and bespoke sizes are also available to order on request.
