Makita hammer duo

Filed under: Whats New — EHN Team @ 3:39 pm

Makita has introduced two new heavy-duty SDS+ rotary hammer drills that are available in either 110V or 240V mains configuration.

The HR2650 and HR2651 have an 800W motor providing 2.4 joules of impact energy and up to 4,600 blows per minute, and are said to be able to punch a 26mm hole in concrete using a normal TCT bit. They will also drive a 68mm TCT core or an 80mm diamond core through concrete, says the manufacturer.

The tools have a one-touch sliding SDS+ chuck and incorporate a dust collection system fitted with a Hepa filter, as well as a removable transparent case for disposal of collected particles. Both weigh 4.2kg. For more information visit www.makitauk.com
