Air-Seal goes eco-friendly

Filed under: Whats New — EHN Team @ 4:18 pm

Air-Seal Products has launched an environmentally-friendly tyre sealant to enable users to reduce their carbon footprint.

Its Heavy Duty sealant, which is designed for use with tyres fitted to items of plant and road-going machinery, now incorporates propylene instead of ethylene glycol to enhance its green characteristics. The company says that it works in exactly the same way as before, being designed to prevent up to 95% of all punctures up to 30mm and to stop all rim, bead and other slow air leaks.

Air-Seal, which will exhibit the new product at the Executive Hire Show at the Ricoh Arena on 8 and 9 February, says that a single treatment can cost less than the full cost of one repair and lasts the legal life of the tyre. It also helps maintain the correct pressure, and treated tyres can still be re-treaded.
