High-power DeWalt tools

Filed under: Whats New — EHN Team @ 3:24 pm

DeWalt has launched a range of heavy-duty cordless tools driven by batteries that are designed to provide 54V, while also being compatible with its existing XR line-up of 18V products.

New 54V machines available now include a table saw, alligator saw, circular saw, angle grinder, 216mm-bladed mitre saw and a reciprocating saw. A plunge saw and a 250mm-bladed mitre saw are scheduled for launch in October. Other tools to be released include SDS-Max and SDS-Plus hammer drills, as well as outdoor power products including a brush cutter and a blower.

The manufacturer says it has developed a transport cap that splits the 54V cells into three 18V batteries to meet shipping regulations. To find out more visit www.dewalt.co.uk/xrflexvolt
