Three new Makita pumps

Filed under: Whats New — EHN Team @ 3:08 pm

Makita has expanded its water pump range with three new 4-stroke models, designed for low emissions and reduced noise levels.

The EW2050H 2in model is designed to lift clean water from 8m below the pump, up to a maximum head height of 32m, at the rate of 520 litres per minute. For dirty water, such as flood water, the 2in EW2051H has a quoted flow rate of 700 litres per minute, while the larger 3in model, the EW3051H, is said to be able to move 1,000 litres per minute. Both dirty-water pumps are designed to generate a head height of 23m.

All three models are protected by a sump oil sensor which switches off the engine if the level is too low. More details about the new additions can be found at www.makitauk.com
