More from Makita

Filed under: Whats New — EHN Team @ 9:03 am

Makita UK has introduced two new M-Class dust extraction vacuum units, along with a dual-power extractor that can be powered by mains or battery.

The VC2201MXI/VC2211MX1 have a 1050W motor and are available in 110V or 240V. They incorporate a 22-litre stainless steel tank and have an automatic self-cleaning filter system. An air flow sensor bleeps when the tank is full or the pipe is blocked, and the machines can be used with mica, china clay, gypsum, wood dust, masonry, GRP and concrete.

The new DVC861LZ L-class extractor is operated by both AC mains power and DC batteries, using Makita’s twin 18V battery system, making it suitable for locations without a convenient electrical supply. The machine can be used with plaster, china clay and mica materials.

The manufacturer, which will be exhibiting on Stand D25 at the Executive Hire Show on 10 and 11 February, has also launched additions to its laser measurement range, including the LD030P measure for indoor applications and the SK104Z cross line laser. For more details visit www.makitauk.com
