The CEA (Construction Equipment Association) says its new Cesar Emissions Compliance Verification (ECV) initiative to help site managers identify the engine emissions stage compliance of individual machines in environmentally sensitive areas, has generated much feedback following its preview at the Plantworx exhibition.
These comments are now being evaluated with a view to a full rollout later this year.
Fixed alongside the standard Cesar triangle identification badge, the new version is designed to provide an immediate visual check on compliance backed up by a QR code which can be scanned.
It is being developed to meet demand for an easy and reliable way to confirm the emissions category of construction equipment used within Low Emission Zones and ‘green’ construction sites.
