TCP targets emissions

Filed under: Latest News — EHN Team @ 12:47 pm

TCP (Taylor Construction Plant) recently participated in an initiative organised by the contractor, Multiplex, to demonstrate environmentally friendly equipment to mark Clean Air Day.

The manufacturer’s Ecolite LED hydrogen lighting tower was demonstrated on a Multiplex site at Marble Arch Place a development in London’s West End. It was one of several displays at various locations to highlight low and zero carbon construction, focusing on techniques to reduce emissions.

The Ecolite machine is designed to not only eliminate carbon emissions and fossil fuel consumption, but also to avoid noise pollution and the risk of fuel spills. The hydrogen lighting tower, developed in partnership with BOC, produces electricity from the reaction between hydrogen and atmospheric oxygen, with the only emission being water vapour.
