Niftylift’s Christmas star

Filed under: Latest News — EHN Team @ 8:56 am

Niftylift has used some of its powered access products to create a festive display in the shape of a Christmas tree and star at its headquarters in Milton Keynes.

Standing at 30m high, the manufacturer believes that the attraction is one of the tallest structures in the area, and with its facility in Shenley Wood being located in one of the highest natural locations, it can be seen from sites all around the city.

The ‘tree’ is made with three Height Rider 28 (HR28) Hybrid work platforms that have been wrapped in Christmas lights. Each machine took seven hours to finish and is covered in 1,920 white LED lights.

The ‘star’ was again designed in-house and fabricated by Border Engineering, which also makes the steelwork on Niftylift cages. It has 900 green lights, held in place by 25 end caps that were produced using a 3D printer.
