Liebherr-Great Britain has opened a new service centre for earthmoving equipment in Sheffield. The facility will provide spare parts and backup support to customers, and to the field service engineering team that is already located in the area.

The manufacturer has also expanded the curriculum offered by the CPCS accredited training school at its UK headquarters in Biggleswade, which now includes formal training and certification to CPCS category A26 for mobile elevated work platforms (MEWPs). The new course can be run either according to CPCS standards, or students can obtain Liebherr’s own certification. Training can also be held at the customer’s own premises.
