Coventry-based Clements Plant & Tool Hire has added a sixth Kubota mini excavator to its fleet, in the form of another KX36-3 model from distributor BTE Plant Sales of Leicester. The hirer’s existing Kubota line-up, comprising three further KX36-3s and two 2.5 tonne U25-3s, were bought earlier in the year when MD Jim Longstaff visited BTE’s stand at the Executive Hire Show.

Jim says he has been impressed by the performance and reliability of the machines, and the fact that Kubota fits an anti-theft system as standard. This uses encoded keys to ensure that only authorised drivers can access and operate the units. The minis are also covered by a three year warranty.

The KX36-3 has been developed to offer efficient handling and performance over a wide range of tasks and has a long arm for increased dig depth. The U25-3 is a zero tail swing machine designed to facilitate work in confined spaces.
