ArcGen Hilta is to undertake a summer roadshow in July and August to promote its pumping equipment ranges. Business Development Manager – Pumps, Robert Leyden (pictured, left, with Commercial Director Phil Winnington) will visit customers to explain and demonstrate the BBA line-up of pumps, for which ArcGen Hilta is UK distributor.
BBA pumps are designed for economy and reliability, and are backed up by quick and efficient service,” Robert Leyden told EHN. “They are commonly used in environments such as mines, quarries and construction sites, where failure could lead to the loss of plant through water damage.”
The BBA BA100 auto-prime model shown is a compact 4in diameter contractors’ pump with a 5kW single cylinder diesel engine (1500 rpm max), super-silenced and designed for fuel economy. With solids handling capabilities of up to 82mm, a maximum flow rate of 135 cu m per hour and a total head up to 19m, the pump is suitable for sewage water bypass, general construction and emergency de-watering applications. The machine is fitted with a 220 litre fuel tank and consumes less than 1.5 litres per hour, meaning it can run for a week without needing refuelling.
ArcGen Hilta will also be promoting its Hilta range of centrifugal and diaphragm pumps, Alcon agricultural, aviation and fire fighting pump range and AFEC submersibles. If you want the roadshow to visit you, contact the company on 01902 790824.
