To celebrate the recent introduction of its inspHire-iX software application for mobile workers using iPhones and iPads, inspHire launched 99 tagged red balloons during the Vertikal Days lifting equipment exhibition in Haydock.
Visitors to the supplier’s stand were invited to add their contact details to tickets attached to the balloons, which were released on the second day of the Show by inspHire’s Graham Dobbs (right) and Karen Miles, assisted by Jon Ball of Easi UpLifts, an inspHire customer. The owner of the balloon that travels farthest will win an iPod Touch media player, with the finder receiving gift vouchers.
“Feedback from customers who have already installed inspHire-iX has been overwhelming,” said Graham Dobbs. “The key benefit comes from their field sales teams being able to remain informed, having the data they need direct from the main inspHire installation in their head office.”
● Other software suppliers exhibiting at Vertikal Days included Higher Concept Software, whose Sales & Marketing Director Katy Williams told EHN that access equipment hirers continued to represent a strong segment, and that the company expected to complete several new sales in the very near future.
MCS said they had received enquiries for its MCS-rm software at the Show from visitors who had travelled from France, The Netherlands and Italy. Sales Manager Nick Thomson reported a general increase in interest from hirers who, having concentrated initially on refreshing their equipment fleets, are now updating their internal systems.
Also exhibiting at Vertikal Days was Jaama, whose Key 2 web based tool and equipment hire software is designed for straightforward installation and operation, particularly for networked computers, and US-based Wynne Systems, which promoted its RentalMan program.
The July/August EHN will include a comprehensive review of Vertikal Days.
