Speedy has opened a new ‘Superstore’ facility in Bristol. Like similar sites established in Edinburgh, Stoke and Wolverhampton last year, it will accommodate £1m worth of equipment including small tools, lifting and survey equipment, light plant and fencing. The 27,000ft2 depot will also offer testing, inspection and repair services for all lifting equipment.
Superstore General Manager Steve Farmer (pictured, right, with Speedy UK Asset Services MD David Graham) said, “As our first in the south west, the new Superstore is based in a prime location which will help to provide a wide range of tools and equipment to local customers.”
Speedy plans to open 12 such Superstores throughout the UK by 2012.
