Hirer John F. Hunt of Essex has taken delivery of 80 generators from ArcGen Hilta to serve customers in the outdoor events market. They chiefly comprise Denyo Eventer ultra-silent models, as well as super-silent machines, and join other products that the hirer already has in its fleet from SMC Light & Power, which ArcGen Hilta acquired last year, including Powermaster generators and TL-90 lighting towers.
John F. Hunt’s Sales Director, Richard Denbury (pictured right with ArcGen Hilta’s Chief Executive, Mark Hodgkins, said, “In the UK, events are more popular than ever, and show organisers need to be confident that performances are kept powered-up and crowds are kept safe. We need to ensure that the plant hired is reliable and robust, with uninterrupted operation and ease of maintenance.”
Machines in the Eventer range are designed to give up to 26 hours’ uninterrupted operation and are fully bunded. They also have AMF and synchronisation to minimise loss of power. The line-up currently encompasses power outputs from 20 to 37kVA, and a new 100kVA unit will be added shortly.
