West Coast Tool & Plant Hire of Lochgilphead, Argyllshire, has added more Volvo mini excavators to its fleet. The latest order includes three 2.7 tonne class EC27Cs, a 1.5 tonne EC15B machine, and a DD14 tandem roller. Proprietor Darran Mellish says, “We have had Volvo minis in the fleet for ten years now and we continue to choose them due to their high specification and their consistently high level of reliability and availability.”

West Coast offers its minis with Engcon tiltrotators to offer a high degree of flexibility to customers. “The added investment we’ve made with the Engcon attachments gives us a specialist edge in offering the equipment for self-drive hire, as well as for our own contracting division,” continued Mr Mellish.

West Coast Tool and Plant Hire has branches in Lochgilphead and Oban, offering equipment ranging from a cordless screwdriver to minis of up to 14 tonne. It serves a diverse customer base encompassing DIY enthusiasts and construction professionals.

Volvo will be exhibiting its latest equipment on its stand at the Executive Hire Show at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry next month.
