Generator hire specialist, Mather and Stuart, has opened a new depot in Newmillerdam, near Wakefield. It complements the company’s head office in Wigan, and service outlets in Sedgefield, County Durham, and Studley in the West Midlands.
“The new branch fills a gap for us that existed in the West Yorkshire area,” said Director, Mark Stuart, “and means we can maintain service to national account customers at high levels.” The Newmillerdam facility will offer a full range of temporary power products, including more than 100 generators with outputs of 10-1250kVA, and ancillary equipment.
Mather and Stuart has also recently appointed Michael Bullock as its new MD. He was previously Vice President of Sales for Manitou in the Middle East, Africa and Pacific Region, and was formerly Director, International Sales, with Gehl Company. Fred Stuart, who founded the business with the late Bill Mather in 1984, becomes Chairman.
