TowerLight has delivered more units of its VT-1 hydraulically operated, metal halide lighting towers to HSS, augmenting those the hirer already has in its fleet. Designed for safe and efficient operation, the machine has a 9m, 360° vertical mast and incorporates single-lever operation, enabling one person to erect the tower in less than 30 seconds.

The VT-1 has been tested in wind speeds in excess of 75mph, and it is fully bunded to contain all fluids. HSS has taken the additional machines to meet anticipated demand for temporary lighting products from contractors serving markets such as highway repairs, where work is carried out at night to minimise disruption, as well as at events and commercial premises.
