Bobcat
will
highlight
its
new
E08
and
E10
mini
excavators,
which
become
the
smallest
models
in
its

The
former
is
a
conventional
machine
weighing
1028kg,
while
the
E10
model
is
a
zero
tail
swing
model
that
weighs
in
at
1066kg.
Both
have
a
retractable
undercarriage
that
reduces
the
width
of
the
machines
to
710mm,
and
when
in
the
correct
working
position
it
can
be
expanded
to
1000mm
on
the
E08
and
1100mm
on
the
E10
for
maximum
stability.
Attachments

Designed
for
preparing

they
can
work
in
either
forward
or
reverse
direction,
levelling
ground
and
pulverising
clumps
of
earth,
as
well
as
separating
out
debris
and
rocks.
This
year,
the
company
is
celebrating
the
50th

of
manufacturing

and
they
will
be

comprising
four
standard

The
company
will
also
launch
a
new
high
frequency
electric
concrete
poker,
the
BHF,
which
features
an
internal
vibrator
and
an
electric
converter.
It
is
claimed
to
give
an
optimum
rotation
speed
of
12,000
revs/minute
owing
to
the
positioning
of
the
motor
inside
the
head,
and
the
fact
that
it
is
attached
directly
to
the
offset
weight.
This
is
also
designed
to
considerably
reduce
losses
through
friction.
The
company
will

will
include
the
3.5-tonne
EC35C
and
4.8-tonne
ECR48C
mini
excavators.
The
smaller
machine
features
a
conventional
design
for
stability
and
minimal
superstructure
swing.
The
ECR48C,
which
is
being
shown
publicly
for
the
first
time,
has
a
short
radius
superstructure
that
turns
within
the
width
of
the
tracks.
An
optional
counterweight
facilitates
the
use
of
longer
arms
and
heavier
attachments.
Both
machines
have
a
36.3hp
Volvo
diesel
engine
designed
for
low
levels
of
emissions,
noise
and
fuel
consumption.
They
can
be
fitted
with
an
auto-idling
system
that
lowers
the
engine
speed
to
idle
if
the
operator
does
not
use
the
controls
for
five
seconds.

various
security
features
offered
on
its

as
the
A-Trak

and
the
CESAR

programme.
A
recent
fleet
addition
is
the
Trenchlink
system
of
interlocking,
ductile
iron
mini
road
plates
which
can
be
assembled
quickly
to
secure
a
trench
for
the
immediate
passage
of
vehicular
or
pedestrian
traffic.
The
plates
have
an
integrated,
permanent
anti-skid
surface
and
are
designed
so
that
they
can
not
move
out
of
position
once
they
have
been
put
in
place.
Also
new
is
the
Turbosol
Beton
Master,
which
can
pump
and
spray
concrete,
mortars
and
similar
materials.
It
has
a
double
piston
pump
with
a
variable
output
power
valve.
Working
at
up
to
80
bar
pressure,
it
offers
a
variable
output
between
2-25m3/hour.
Tied

Young
Black
New
from
Young
Black
is
the
Max
RB655
Rebar
Tie
tool,
designed
for
rapidly
tying
rebar
of
up
to
65mm
diameter.
It
utilises
a
reverse
motor
mechanism
to
achieve
tighter,
consistent
ties
with
minimal
wire
wastage.
The
cordless
tool
uses
1.5mm
wire,
which
is
the
same
gauge
as
is
normally
used
for
tying
by
hand,
enabling
it
to
complete
the
task
using
a
single
strand.
Each
slash
tie
takes
less
than
one
second
to
complete,
which
Young
Black
estimates
to
be
five
times
faster
than
the
most
experienced
steel
fixer
can
achieve
by
hand.
On-site
trip
hazards
are
also
reduced
as
the
tool
uses
small,
compact
reels
of
wire
instead
of
the
25kg
rolls
traditionally
used
when
hand
tying.
Compact
selection
from
Terex
Terex
promises
an
impressive
display
of
more
than
20
machines
from
its
construction
equipment
range.
The
line-up
will
include
the
companys
latest
mini
excavators,
ranging
from
1.5-7.5
tonne,
including
the
TC25,
which
has
a
transport
weight
of
2.6
tonnes
and
can
be
towed
on
a
standard
trailer
behind
a
pickup
or
4-wheel
drive
vehicle.
Due
to
a
compact
rear
turning
radius
of
only
1100mm,
when
fitted
with
standard
250mm
rubber
tracks,
the
machine
has
a
short
tail
swing
with
375mm
overhang,
and
there
is
no
front
overhang
when
the
machine
is
slewed
at
45°,
enabling
it
to
trench
close
to
walls
and
obstacles.
